The workshop
The Atelier Lumierrante is a production workshop specialized in 3D printing of ceramic materials. The first of its kind to open in Paris, its activity is focused in the fields of sculpture, design and architecture.
The workshop is a local production unit, which favors tailor-made over standardized objects. Here, the practice of ceramics is thought in a transdisciplinary way, mixing art and technique according to the projects. In our ceramic objects production, the use of additive manufacturing technologies comes as an extension of traditional approaches.
Skills in digital design (3D scanning, modeling, encoding) add to our mastery of traditional manufacturing processes (modeling, casting, glaze process). This offers a wide range of possibilities, such as the creation of complex geometries and unique surface treatments.
The details and finishes of each of our objects are worked out with great care, with an extensive research in the field of high-fire glazes. This positioning allows us to exploit the great technical and aesthetic potential of these materials. With our expertise in the fields of art and architecture, we are able to carry out various projects, ranging from prototyping to the crafting of small series.
The Atelier Lumierrante stands up for a precise, original, and innovative ceramic. It is a place of production on a human scale, which rethinks its approach in each project, and tries to reinvest the importance of the material in our daily life objects.
